It's really weird people don't seem to get your point.
I'm avoiding mpreg fics like plague for these same reasons - they are more often than not enforce the stereotypes, just reversed. I'm not very vocal about it though, I guess there are a lot of people like me.

I've been reading fanfiction for various fandoms for a long long while, and mpreg got a blast of popularity at some point around early 2010s. And for some undetermined reason the quality of those was absolutely horrible. Now I think maybe it was because of an age of the writers.. That did nothing to endear me to this kink either...
