Are you saying no female characters should ever have masculine traits? Women have those traits in real life. And given that the Thor movies have had plenty of feminine women (and Sif is more of the "not like other girls" but actually pretty feminine type), I don't think having one female character who is more masculine is a problem.

No. Please feel free to reread my comment more carefully, it'll help you avoid making further errors about what I said. On the other hand, if you do that, it'll be a lot harder to have this completely different argument you seem to want to have so badly.

Okay, then, please explain what you do mean. because it sounds like you have a problem with female characters having masculine traits.

Er...no,it doesn't. My comment says nothing about how female characters shouldn't have masculine traits. My comment didn't contain any value judgment at all. Your determination to see something that isn't there suggests you're very, very keen have this debate with someone, but wouldn't it make more sense to...well,argue with someone who disagrees with you?

da

The problem arises in making a big deal out of those “masculine” traits. Or, actually, if you want to boil it down further, the problem is considering certain personality traits masculine or feminine in the first place. A woman who belches in public is not masculine, she is a woman who belches in public.
