104. I agree. I don't mind rapefic if it's well-written and portrayed in a realistic manner, but it seriously bothers me when people eroticize it and make it seem like the victim wants and enjoys it. Not only is it disgusting and offensive, but it's also disprespectful to the character and completely OOC. I read fanfiction because I like the characters and wanna see more of them, not because I'm interested in seeing them turn into people's pathetic self-inserts that they use to live out their fantasies.

People use the characters as their self-inserts because it's a safe environment to explore that fantasy (that is, when they are using characters as self-inserts at all). I don't think they mean any disrespect to the character.
