Agreed. As someone who writes realistic portrayals of rape and the aftermath, I find it kind of squicky to see all the fics that glorify it into this loving thing. It's not. It's not even about sex the majority of the time. (This is one of the reasons I really don't read a lot of doujinshi- the whole 'I rape you because I love you/ no means yes' dynamic makes me want to puke.)

I haven't been keeping up with replies, so I'm not sure how people have been responding. But so many people seem to equate rape with sex, just because it's a physically sexual act. Physically sexual, mentally all about power, anger, and wanting to hurt others. It's not that hard to grasp. And thanks!

A lot of them seem to suck at reading comprehension, because they apparently missed the part where I said I would never REALLY wish it on anyone.

And a number of them, I think, are just really defensive about liking rapefic.
