Sometimes I wonder if some people just make up such secrets to see what heated discussion they might trigger.

xkcd is just great! But in the end I can't decide which one I like more: xkcd or phd comics.

We do get a bunch of trolls here, don't we. It wouldn't surprise me if it shows up on fandom_wank, they way they've been going at it.
maybe they could just do a whole bingo card of touchy subsjects and get it over and done with.

I like the simple xkcd style better. Also, the irc folk is hilarious. But that's just my two cents ^^

The main problem with the trolls is to find out which ones are real secrets and which ones aren't. Mostly, I just ignore the ones I figure as fakes.

Well, since I am a potions master (i.e. a chemist) there's more stuff related to my subject within phd but I like the others just as well. ^_^

For me it's the same. I'm a mathematician/computer-scientist so xkcd is more my thing.

No, haven't heard of this one before, but this just made me giggle!

This reminds me of a friend of mine who told me yesterday that he was surprised that CERN really exists. Obviously he has read Illuminati and thought Dan Brown made this all up. I had to suppress the urge to smack my head...

The people going all, ZOMG the world is going to end, because we're gonna get swallowed by giant black holes made me want to headdesk quite often.

Well, Dan Brown does have quite the imagination. Although, I do remember liking Illuminati way back when I read it.

That's just the way with chemistry as well. People enjoy the benefits every day but all go crazy when they hear about it in the media, because that normally means there was some kind of accident.

I liked the book as well but I think I'm really gonna smack the guy when I get to work now. :P

Sexy villain, huh? Simm!Master on Doctor Who opened me up to sexy!evilness. Those are hard to come by. Usually they're too fucked up to be sexy :(

I hated that whole stupid Zack thing. >.> And, the show's not as good now, anymore. For some reason, Bones (the charries) went from being all non-touchy-feely to way-sex-obsessed. o.O

I agree, Zack was one of my favorite characters. Also, the way they've been pushing the Booth/Bones thing so much is really getting on my nerves.

I like sweets a lot, but I've only seen him in a few episodes. do you know if the actor guest-starred on Supernatural?

I'm usually not a big fan of masks. Mostly, because my mind goes staight to an Oscar Wilde essay and really, the big thoughts make itdifficult to squee properly ^^
