Random thought, and I'm not exactly arguing- I'd buy those DVDs in a heartbeat whether I like the dub or not, because the sub = <33333, and I love both dubs and subs, depending on the quality of each (horrible dubbing for Gravitation, horrible subtitling on my version of Trigun, it's all good! XD), but... I think part of the bad reaction to a sucky dub cast isn't so much "THE SHOW IS RUINED FOREVER NOW," is that a lot of us fans would be really, really excited to see a good English version. It'd be awesome, it should be something to look forward to. When we don't get it, it's extremely disappointing- so it's not that the whole show is ruined, and the Japanese version isn't ruined, but the potential that the English dub had definitely is. If... that makes sense.
