That's what I'm for, but those against it say that Soul Silver already has that abbreviation. Other people are going for SwSh or SnS mostly.

I've seen a lot of people say that using SS is bad because those initials are associated with Nazis. Of course, they're also associated with Social Security, Secret Service, Severus Snape and, as mentioned by an anon above, Soul Silver, but obviously the first thing anyone who hears people talking about "Pokemon SS" is gonna think of is Nazis.
