tbh fair slutty outfits can be an indication of body image issues

Came to say this. The pro-ana community is like nothing but pics of girls in bikinis, crop tops, etc.

Yep. It seems like a real vicious circle between the genre and the fan base in terms of how dominant and ridiculous the fan service is.

It's definitely true that not all people with body image issues dress in extremely baggy, full-coverage clothes. Some wear tight and/or revealing clothes in an attempt to make themselves look slimmer and sexier. Some wear clothes that heavily show off particular parts of their body that they think are the best parts, because they feel like they have to compensate for the "bad" parts (eg. low cut tops to show cleavage, very short skirts to show legs).

That said, I do agree with you about this specific outfit. A tiny thong and a cropped cape is just not the look I'd go to for a character with body image issues.

It also just looks stupid. Unless the character is a Victoria's Secret angel who was interrupted mid-runway and had to dash off and fight baddies before she could change, in which case her outfit is spot on.

Please can someone give that girl some pants

And you thought Strike Witches was winning the war on pants.

She looks too Little Red Riding Hood-themed to be named Snow White.

Little Red Riding Hood is the brown-haired one next to her.

urgh, i actually like the top and the boots too, but it's not even that it's showing too much, the panties just look like they're falling off and giving her a wedgie and that makes me uncomfortable.

Body issues of what kind? The kind where she feels self-concious about not having big boobs/a bigger butt or the other kind?

She’s convinced she’s fat, to the point that she can’t stand to look at herself in the mirror.

It’s a Japanese game. Everything from there is catered to men, not women who are second class citizens. If there’s a woman, she must be young and fuckable.
