Highlander. Cast an actual Scottish guy (not Gerard Butler for the love of god), make more of an effort to have other immortals from diverse backgrounds played by actors of that background, and add more awesome swordplay.

Isn't Gerard Butler an actual Scottish guy?

Yes. But my objection to him is not his nationality, it's the fact that it's Gerard Butler and the far too obvious choice.

An all-expenses paid trip to a private island in the Caribbean?

But seriously. The original Highlander movie involved the guy who won turning mortal in the end so he could go off and marry his girlfriend and have kids. I think the prize should be some sort of magical potion - if an immortal drinks it, it turns them mortal. If a mortal drinks it, it turns them immortal. That way the winner gets to choose if they want to go back to mortal life, or make their loved one immortal.

As someone currently huddling over a space heater - YES PLEASE!

Hrmmmmmm......
That would be interesting, for sure. But frankly - 'immortality' with a loved one is kinda overrated. At least in my book. Unless you approach it as they did in 'Only Lovers Left Alive', where the 'immortal lovers' go off and have lives or years or even decades, but are still in *love*.....

That works. :D
