Could be. Although, honestly, a lot of Tolkien is GOT-like minus the sex. There is a lot of death. There is devil worship and human sacrifice. There is a lot of intense stuff. The one thing Tolkien has that GOT doesn't is hope. As long as they maintain that sense of hope and that sense that there are good people, there are heroic people in the midst of the darkness, I'll be happy.
