131 - Rudy! (As a sidenote, I don't get why people thought Deb was dumb for noticing he was a serial killer. It's not like she heard creepy music playing whenever he entered the room. And why would she suspect the guy replacing the limbs of one of the victims?)

132 - Eric Roberts is awesome. My parents refer to him as the king of B-movies. I like him much better than his sister (Julia Roberts).

141 - ...how do you cosplay Dexter? It's not like he has a really unique style.

LOL, that secret submitter was talking about the fandom and how it views the female characters. Fandom loves pointing out how aspects of Claire's, Monica's, Simone's, Maya's, Niki's (etc.) storylines make them weak characters, but they are not bothered in the least by how Elle is treated, and they completely ignore that HRG's or Peter's treatment of her is never portrayed as something bad on the show. I guess most fans don't even see it as something bad, even though they do like to fancy themselves great feminists. That just bothers me, yanno.

I really don't see anything wrong with how Elle is treated, no lol, I mean "everything" is wrong but I never saw a fan saying something like, "Well done HRG, you continue doing what you do to Elle" or something like that. She is damaged goods and she tries to manipulate men to get what she wants, HRG is a morally grey-manipulative bastard who only gives a damn about his own ass and his family and manipulate everybody to get what he wants and I just love their story. I never thought Elle as a weak character btw. I really can't see the point of this secret really.
Elle being a role-model? Excuse me but huge LOLs.

Well, but I have seen fans say that (not only in regards to Elle, but even in Season 1 when he was trying to kill Molly, people were saying that Mohinder should have let him do it... stuff like that, really).
Like I said: there are a lot of people writing essays on the treatment of basically all other female characters. Why are there none about Elle? You do admit it's creepy, or should creep people out... but are they writing about it? Are they writing worried essays about whether Elle will realize HRG is manipulating her just like Bob was manipulating her? No, instead we get "Elle is sooo much of a better character than [insert name here]" and "omg HRG and Veronica Mars tem-up, badass!!!". Really, I've seen comments like that, if you haven't, lucky you, but don't treat me like an idiot just because our experiences in fandom are different.

I see you care a lot about my secret, even making an LJ entry about it. But look, my entire point was that people are NOT CREEPED OUT ENOUGH by the way HRG treats Elle. Most people don't seem creeped out at all.

Honestly, is that so hard to grasp?

I gotta say yes, I know I read many posts on many boards about how HRG plays with her and how poor Elle isn't aware of this. I also know some hate HRG because of the way he treats her.

HRG/VM stuff was a harmless joke, don't take it too seriously. :)
