174) There are a lot of things I liked about Wesley. I have a fetish for the really bright. It annoyed me that the writers drove his potential into the ground by using him as a cheap "get out of the plot free" card instead of allowing him to do anything fun or interesting. Thank god they let Barkley be smart and have a personality.

And you've said it! Congrats! Anonymously where it won't come back to haunt you or tarnish your reputation.

But posting a secret doesn't give you the right to have everyone respect what you say.

For what it's worth, you were fine all the way up to the point where you said "Sry2say, Fandom, he's not that pretty," when, LOL, you thought he was just that pretty not that long ago. Fandom doesn't need your fauxpology. Fandom doesn't care what you think.

Not only do they take them too seriously, but (in my opinion) too many of them aren't that good at portraying their relationship like it actually is. Too much fluff does not make for a Captain Jack Harkness relationship. D=

THIS! I'll never get why so many people want to shoehorn Harkness of all people into fluffy domestic OTPdom. That's pretty much the antithesis of his canon self. I really don't get why fandom wants to turn an invulnerable, lecherous, damn near ancient, morally iffy, obsessive and controlling badass into a total woobie, but for some reason they do.
