Re: What did you do today, FS?

I went to see Apollo 11, since the big theater in that one mall had a morning showing and they have <$6 tickets on Sunday shows before noon. Every time I go to that theater I always miss the correct exit at the interchange because I'm running on automatic and trying to go the way I go to work, and have to circle around on some downtown surface streets to get going the right direction. I thought I was late because of that, but the movie actually started 20 minutes later than I thought it did, so I was fine!

The movie was really good and beautiful. It had completely not occurred to me until partway through that the 50th anniversary is this July!

Since I got there early, I spent a few minutes wandering the mall first and saw Eddie Bauer had some stuff on deeply discounted clearance (i.e. the only way I can afford things there other than, like, socks). Turns out becoming more of a clothing minimalist does not stop one's winter wardrobe from eventually becoming rather sad as things wear out, but after purchasing a house (!) late last summer, new clothes have been an unjustifiable luxury. Things have stabilized a bit by now, so after the movie, I went and bought two tops for $40 total.

Then I went home and had a very late lunch (involving avocado toast - can confirm it does not prevent home ownership) and did some chores and watched YouTube videos. Now I need to go to the grocery store and make lunch for tomorrow. Bye!
