All of the romance plots are just super icky and wildly unappealing to me, even the ones that aren't as aggressively bad as the teacher one.

Which is honestly fine, I'm light-years outside of the target demo, but still

God I hate the whole “girls backstab each other and secretly hate their friends” too. One of the most alienating tropes ever to me.

I hate that trope too and want it to die in a fire.

I hate that trope, too, but sadly - it was exactly like that in our "friends" group. Only I wasn't prepared for it and was really hurt every time when the backstabbing happened.

And it happened mostly over boys, which made no sense to me at all at the time.
