This will probably be the last Marvel movie I see in theaters. They best give Captain America a good swan song. I hope he at least gets in the double digits of screen time. :|

Same, honestly. This seems like a wrap-up for the original six, and I feel like it's a good closing point for the series. Sure it might mean I won't understand a lot of new fanfic going forward, but...

I didn't realize it was coming out quite so soon. I won't be able to go opening weekend like I usually do, since I'll be in Mexico and busy. And it looks like they aren't doing any early showings. Boo. Really excited, though.

What is the inverse of a hype train? Because I feel like that's what's happening with me and the Avengers with each subsequent trailer. It's like the train's grinding to a halt. This just looks so... melodramatic. Idk. I'm scared, because MCU has been my fandom for so long, but I feel like I'm just going through the motions now and I care less and less. I expected to be shattered by any hints of Cap's death, but I'm just. Eh. Guess it's gonna happen.

I didn't even like Captain Marvel that much. I hate this. I want to go back to loving these things.

I do feel the train's slowing down, but I'll continue to see MCU movies because I did leave the train for a while and jumped back in a few years ago, so I'm stoked as fuck for Endgame.

But I do know what you mean. I do have a fear this is the beginning of the end, that any permanent deaths were the glue that kept the series going.
