Kind of reminds me of how fucking racist the Voltron fandom was against Asians and claimed Shiro didn't count as a true POC because "he's not dark skinned like our precious uwu bean Lance". This was often used as another argument against Sheith, claiming they prefer their two white boys ship over the far more "woke" Klance ship. It was pretty infuriating.

I remember the one comment that enraged me about he ending was "of course the WoC dies for the skinny white boys" which ignores Pidge, Lance, Hunk and Shiro.

Not mention also that they claim that Lance MUST be Afro-Caribean to be Latino or else he's not, ignoring that there are many white-skinned Latinos.
