I'm the background extra, and one jaw-droppingly unprofessional thing that some BG have done is left the filming location, fucked off to somewhere they'd rather be, and had a friend on set text them when it's looking like we're close to wrapping, so that they can come back and sign out as though they were there all along.

This mainly only works on extremely large BG days, when there are a couple hundred of us. But people do it, and get away with it.

I'm very non-controlling about how my co-workers do their jobs. As far as I'm concerned, they pay us garbage, so they shouldn't expect us to give them our all. But wow, I am so not here for people who cheat like that in such a massive and shitty way.
