(Anonymous) 2019-03-15 03:11 am (UTC)(link)I see that as being a flaw with our education system rather than the test, tbh. Civics/US government needs to be a required course for all students. I was horrified when I graduated from private school and found out that it WASN'T mandatory, because my school required all students to take a year-long class dedicated to civics and the US government so that we had a firm understanding of exactly how the government works, why the different parts are needed/what they do, etc. Everyone should know those things to be a responsible and informed citizen.
