I feel that last one so hard. I got screamed at by one of the entitled moms at my office for not giving up my leave last Christmas (my work uses a lottery system to determine who gets leave if there are more people asking for a particular block than operational requirements support) because she has children and I don't.

Because how fucking dare I, a single person, want to spend the holiday with my family, all of whom live out of town. Don't I know that family time is only for people with kids?

(Not that she'd have any right to ask me to give up my leave even if I was planning to sit around in my pajamas, drink wine, and eat ice cream, but this idea that only people with kids have families really needs to die.)
