I don't know him well enough to say, but I don't think it's relevant in terms of his employment. Would you like your employment to be based upon whether or not someone else felt you were a good person, and not, say, based upon your job performance?

I'm not familiar at all and just going off what the secret says - but that actually seems like an extremely appropriate and reasonable response to something that's a serious exploration of abuse written through the lens of the author's experience as a victim.

(that's not to say that OP's response is wrong, either) (your response is the one that's wrong)

Depends on the job, but I also haven't tweeted at length about kiddy diddling and rape. He's also a public figure for a multi billion company, I think a higher standard is necessary.

Wow, okay. Are you the anon I replied to? It doesn't sound like you enjoy the show, which is fair. I don't think the show portrays the team as unrealistically flawless and admirable, however. They're clearly the good guys, but they definitely have flaws - you're seeing one in the secret. Whether or not those flaws are addressed well is a separate issue.

I do like the show as a piece of entertainment. I also think it has major issues with regards to its basic premises that would be pretty hard for me to defend.

The jokes were incredibly tasteless and awful. It's my understanding that long before they came to light again in the news, he'd realized that they were shitty, apologized and was trying to be a better person. I don't think that's a bad example for a public figure. I'm inclined to think it's a good one and that the world would be a better place if more people who made shitty, stupid jokes realized it and tried to do better. I also think the world is a better place if people encouraged this instead of wanting people to be pariahs forever and never allowing anyone to regret and make amends.

Really? Whereas I saw many people arguing that Vanya was the bad guy for slitting Allison’s throat and saying those mean things to her, and that Vanya should have just been an adult and let bygones be gygones instead of getting upset and attacking Allison. Oh, and that because of how Vanya acted when she was 4 that meant she totally meant to slit Allison’s throat and wasn’t remorseful about doing so in the least.

After I played Silent Hill 2 I had vivid nightmares about Pyramid Head. I had a bunch of different ones, mostly that he was stalking me. Some of them seemed silly when I woke up. For example I dreamed he lived in the dining room at my work and every time I wanted to go set the table I had to run in with a shotgun and start shooting around randomly so he wouldn't come in.

The bad guy was the one who adopted them and treated them like tools instead of children. Vanya and Allison are not perfect and they did bad things but they are sympathetic characters.

I figured he didn't really know how to use it, plus the briefcase was the one that sent him to a place where not only was he traumatized by war, but he also lost what was possibly the love of his life under horrible circumstances, so he took his rage out on it.

I had nightmares forever after watching a bunch of fire safety psa type stuff in middle school. I honestly don't even remember the videos, but I still remember the very graphic realistic dreams of my house on fire.

Also used to have nightmares about crocodiles dragging me underwater and drowning me after watching crocodile dundee....
