I think bringing down James Gunn is a slightly more complex issue than loving dogs, don't you? To each his own, of course... but if I ever found myself in sympathy with Nazis, I'd at least go off and have a little think about it.

Don't worry, I've thought about it and I still think Gunn sucks. Why are so quick to defend Disney and an industry that's rotten to its core? I don't like supporting pedos, people who enable it, and people who make light of it, but you do you, I guess.

The thing is that James Gunn only falls into one of those three categories - people who make light of pedophilia. And making light of pedophilia, while not good, is far less bad than being a pedophile or enabling pedophilia. And he apologized sincerely for making light of pedophilia, and has not done it since.

None of that has to matter to you, but I don't think it's an unreasonable position.

Not publicly at least, but I doubt he's changed his ways privately. Sure, and why bother celebrating the business practices of a company only concerned about money and an industry that's been complicit in so many abuse scandals? It comes off as ignoring the greater evil.

Where did I say anything defending Disney? I suspect you're having an argument inside your head with an imaginary opponent, but posting your responses here. I think it'd be easier to continue this discussion if you limited yourself to responding to what people actually wrote, but you do you, I guess. ;)
