Yes. He'd be in makeup and need 2 or 3 days for the swelling to go down so he could do it again. He spent most of his time fishing, not hanging with the rest of the cast.

If you listen to the interview, he says he sent his stunt double and then he laughed. I always took it to be a big joke on his part.
