Fair enough. And you have a point in your above comments in that people will find something to mock, no matter what.

I'll admit that my reaction was a knee-jerk one. I'm sorry if I upset you. I do think it's more important that your kids have good self-esteem and are able to stand up for themselves. That way, they can handle any mockery that comes their way, or at least not let it get them down.

You didn't upset me! Everyone is entitled to their opinions, both you and I. I agree that self-esteem and confidence is the most important thing. Ulitimately, what a parent names a child have little significance in comparison to how they raise their child.

(And now that I've had a chance for them to grow on me, I think London and February could make nice names, especially if they're paired with something one of the more traditional names. Besides, April and Sydney are both relatively common names now, anyway!)
