123. I get your point, but most people who like those things don't like them because they're popular. Bleach is definitely my favorite anime right now, but I still adore Record of Lodoss War, which no one really cares about too much, or ever has really. If you eschew people in your life for liking the mainstream, than you're no better than they are. My biggest issue with the fandom of popular shows is not that the shows are themselves overated, but the more popular the fandom, the greater the chance of people Narutarding things up. And you don't really know if someone will like a more obscure anime until you specifically try to introduce it said people in your life. I watched Midori Days (pretty damn obscure) in a viewing room for awhile at a con once, and I thought it was okay, but it was pretty damn repetitive. I can understand why something like Naruto would be more popular than Midori Days, because the show has a wider range of characters that appeal to people more.

155. I wish Yaoi fangirls would just STOP. Period.
