I've never tried wattpad.

I rarely read anything but explicit fics, so ff.net is out.

Trying to find fic (or anything else) on LJ is a wild ass goose chase.

So yeah, I feel ya.

If I were to get into an older fandom, I'd probably try to find a ship-specific archive, assuming any still exist.

Same here re: wattpad. I prefer ff.n or AO3 - and actually, AO3 by a huge margin now. The text is more readable and you can copy-paste text so you can squee over your favorite parts :)

AO3 is pretty easy to navigate through. I definitely like reading fics from AO3 than any other place, really.

It's so much to sift through. I came upon a promising "bad but so good" fanfic but...IDK maybe it was the format or maybe just the writing style but I couldn't really get into it.
