Your ideal gaming preferences

What is your ideal game mashup? The best of any series / developer?

Mine would be Elder Scrolls' lore and worldbuilding with Bioware's characterisation.

Mine would be the style of games like Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War but using the actual stories from Tolkien's writings and not straying so far off and getting at least one character so very wrong. The games look so fun. Except Celebrimbor is my favorite character, and it makes me angry what they've done to him.

How well does Tolkien's world actually fit that style of game play, though?

Depends on which story. I think there is a lot of first age stuff that would work well in a game. And I think Shadow of War would have worked well without some of the weirder changes. Don't give Celebrimbor a random family. Don't have him help Sauron make the One Ring. You can still have the thing with him being a ghost possessing a random ranger. that would all still work as a game without the stuff that was a disservice to the character.

Local Co-op on consoles. Ideally with customizable characters. Plot would be awesome as well but beggars can't be choosers.

And I'd possibly kill for a modern RPG with a Wuxia/Xianxia setting/theme. One that is not an MMORPG and only available in Chinese.

An open world Star Wars RPG where you have full control over your character's path (force sensitive or not, choice of sides to take, full character customization) that isn't an MMORPG.

Oh and another one: Touken Ranbu, but as an action hack&slash like Sengoku Basara and similar games.

Right? Ugh, during the Chinese New Year Sale on Steam, they had this amazing looking game that appeared to be just what I wanted but it was only in Chinese - and while hack&slash or similar games might be playable without knowing a language, an RPG with plot is just a bit too much of a hassle to slog through without understanding a thing...

I'd like an Assassin's Creed game that's a Bethesda-style open world RPG (but properly debugged)
So I can choose my targets from a list and kill them however I'd like and be a man or a woman and whatever race I'd like and things like that would impact the choices I could make in the game - but I can also parkour around the city and stab people in the face when I want.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines and Crusader Kings 2. And it could happen since Paradox already owns the license.

When will we get a Pokemon MMORPG? WHEN???

I want a Battle Royale game where you can only use melee weapons and have to rely on stealth.
