the way I make it I don't make a roux

In my fam it has to be cheese sauce from scratch of butter and flour ect roux, meat is mince done spag bol way, then layer the sheets and sauce up, grated cheese on top. If you don't do that, to my fam, it is an abomination. You'd think we were Italian but nope, Scots all through.
