Centrists are going to be let down no matter what happens because their expectations are completely delusional. Conservatives are going to say it doesn't matter no matter what happens. And we already know enough in terms of the corruption, the venality, and the criminality of the Trump campaign, the Trump cabinet, and the Trump administration that no reasonable person could support him.
