I don't think they've shown anyone who was dusted, the only thing they've given away is that Tony will get rescued since he's back on Earth with everyone else.

The dusted characters are 100% coming back. He'll be fine.

Also iirc it was mentioned that none of the "dead" characters will appear in any promo involving the main story, so that explains it.

He's played by an obnoxious homophobic-church-supporting prick and the character is basically Tony 2.0. Which is made even more redundant by Dr. Strange being Tony 3.0.

So yeah, I'll be happy if Quill gets barely any screentime.

Tony Stark lives and breathes inherited wealth, an excellent education, and the resources to bring his designs into useful reality. Peter Quill is a scatterbrained rogue raised by pirates, with some useful scavenged tech.

They're both hot messes, but I'd hardly call Quill Stark 2.0. A bit of snark doesn't make someone an expy.

I was just going to say that he dusted in the last movie and none of the characters who are "dead" (LBR, they're all coming back) were shown in any of the promos, but I see everyone has beaten me to it

Yeah, I was really confused when I saw the secret because I was like, "but isn't he currently 'dead'? Why would they show him? They didn't show anyone else..." and then I doubted my memory of the movie and almost went to go look it up just to be sure before commenting and then I was like, "wait...I bet somebody's already commented about it, I should just scroll down and see..."

They did show some of the people dusted as they were being dusted in the recent one (Sam and Wanda and maybe T'Challa - I can't remember if that's who Okoye was looking at), maybe that's what the secret poster is concerned about.

Yes, this. I know he's "dead", it just worried me that his "death" wasn't in the trailer so I wondered how much of the emotional fallout we'd see re: that "death".

I wouldn't worry too much. They didn't show Peter Parker's dusting either, and unless it's an alternate universe, he's totally alive for a trip to France. But the Guardians took a pretty big hit in the dusting and only Nebula saw most of them (and I think she would be more wrapped up in how she feels about Gamora) and she and Tony have to make it back to Earth. Rocket might assume some of them would have been dusted, but he would only know about Groot, until he talks to Nebula. What concerns me in the trailer is Steve being a pallbearer. I guess that could be for someone dusted or for someone who is presumed dead, but it'd be weird for there to be a coffin, so I'm wondering if maybe someone like Pepper dies or something.
