If I could only choose one to consume, movies. So much variety without having a big amount of commitment.

I'm a real visual person, so comics and animation really appeal to me. Wish there was more variety though.

I tend to like different types for different genres. I like my fantasy in books, my scifi in tv shows, my docs/news in podcasts.

I don't know the industry term for it, but my favorite is those limited long-format shows that only have one season with like 10-12 episodes. I enjoy being able to delve that deeply into a story, but I get bored with shows that go on season after season.

Books, with long-running episodic TV series a close second. But books are and will always be the fundamental, basic medium for me. Even if I'm too busy to actually read them.

Live action television, no contest. The way I am, fannishly, I just want to spend as much time with the characters as possible, and also I want the relationships between the characters to be as strong and complex as possible. When it's good, TV gives me that.

Critical Role

Any critters here? I am still trying to play catch-up with campaign one and finding it dragging. I'm currently on ep 65 and have magically avoided most campaign spoilers so far. But between watching the current shows and Life trying to finish this campaign is slow going.

I'm looking for opinions - should I just give up and read a summary of the campaign so I can enjoy the one shots etc? Or are there certain episodes that are more fun/a must see/etc? Or should I just continue my slow crawl and avoiding of spoilers.

If you find it a slog, then just read a summary for the sake of the one shots. You'll miss a few really great moments, but - and I say this as a huge fan of Critical Role in general and the first campaign in particular - it's not worth forcing your way through a couple hundred more hours if you're not enjoying it.

I spent most of my weekend reading Chris Argent/Peter Hale/Stiles Stilinski fic. It never occurred to me that this ship was a thing but now that I know I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Well, I finished my first crochet scarf. It is okay but now have to figure out what to make. Maybe some little crochet toys but first I got to figure out all the lingo.

What fanon/head canon are you unreasonably attached to?

I like the one where everyone, be they lesbian, gay, straight, ace, or whatever, is low-key sexually attracted to Steve Rogers. I don't think it's actually canon, but it's fun and I like it.
