Ah yes, the most No Homo No Homo moment I have ever seen on screen with that Sharon and Steve kiss.

Seriously. Steve was literally willing to let Bucky kill him. After that, no romantic moment with anyone else was going to work.

God you have your shipper goggles really welded on, don’t you.

Tell me that wasn't what it was. Sharon and Steve have almost know connection other than the fact she spied on him for weeks (months?) and is the NIECE of his greatest love. It is gross to even make them a thing. It is even grosser to make them a thing like two days after Peggy dies. If he had to be paired with a woman, there are several others that would at least make some vague sense.

Also, yes, I am a shipper. How did you know?!?!?!

Has Sharon even been in another movie since they kissed?

Huh. Don't think so.

This. I ship Steve/Bucky. But I also ship Steve/Peggy. The creators, I'm convinced, are putting in Steve and Sharon for no homo reasons. But the actual reason it is gross is that she's Peggy's niece.

eeeh, steve/bucky was never going to be a thing but that kiss was really the most awkwardly shoe-horned one they've ever done.

the two characters didn't even really know one another and who steve thought he knew was a lie. so it's weird for CW to act like they'd been 'dancing around one another' when their only real character interaction pre-CW was that 'neighbor' bit in the hall of sheild, and their 5 min interaction in CW wasn't enough to make any kind of 'we've been wanting each other' tension work either.

idk if their r-ship had more meat to it in the OG cap 3 script, it's likely, but in what we got it comes off like a massive no-homo moment because there's no foundation to it at all and sticks out like a sore-thumb.
