Biologically they are not, though. The Westermark effect is a thing, yes, but it's wrong to think that it's the same as incest. That's what people don't seem to understand here, and that's why I'm talking about the Westermark effect as a social construct.

We're not talking about real life, though. We are talking about fanfiction and people's personal squicks. And for some people, it is the same for them mentally. For some people both types hit their incest squick. And that is okay.

So what? Incest is not only about biology. Adopted siblings are still real siblings, and the fact that you disagree is really gross.
