I saw the movie too and Paige went from still in training, mostly, and kind of being a failboat to beating AJ Lee the night after wrestlemania. They never showed any of her being the first women's nxt champion or that whole process.

That would have been more natural than her suddenly beating AJ...I saw the movie too and thought it focused way too much on the struggle and that parts were missing.

Goes back to not being blonde, the Rock calls her up, she beats AJ. I mean it works for movie purposes but if you know the real story it is just sort of perplexing.

I know nothing about WWE besides the wrestlers who have crossed over into movie stardom, seeing her NXT stuff would have been a lot more interesting than the typical biopic mountain.

Yeah, when I watched the movie it seemed like a bit of a jump. Shrug. I figured they condensed the timeline some.

I agree, I went to it the day it came out and I really did like the movie however there was such a dissonance, like-- it couldn't of gone that fast and then my husband was like "They pretty much glossed over NXT" and I was like "WHAT?! That was what that was?"

It made me a little sad, to be sure
