This book was such a disappointment. I thought it was going to about political intrigue and explore the prejudices between Earth and Mars' people. Instead... those elements were there in the background, and it was just a typical sports story.

If she writes any more books in the same universe, I'll eagerly check them out though.

Honestly, I didn't mind the sports emphasis. I got some definite The Power of One vibes from it, since Peekay's ideological struggles take a bit of a back seat to his quest to become the best boxer he can be.
