What characters portray intelligence accurately?

Smart characters are notoriously hard to write. Which ones get it right?

Hermione Granger. I say that because I was totally like her. I'd know random stuff I had read in books and would spout it out when it wasn't wanted. Was also a stickler for the rules but followed along because don't leave me out. But then she would turn around and fall out with Ron over her cat, not be able to get on with her dorm mates over fashion interests vs learning interest, got jealous over boys ect

My money's on Agent J from Men In Black. Not a nerd but definitely brilliant.

Miles Vorkosigan.

He picked up skills quickly (natural aptitude plus intense drive to prove himself), came up with brilliant, off-kilter tactics, it's mentioned in passing that he has the entire crew manifest of his mercenary fleet memorized...

Still makes *really dumb* mistakes when he gets emotional or manic.

(Me, I can write intelligent characters comfortably enough. It's *wise* that terrifies me.)
