Actually it's an artist-writer duo, so this isn't it.

Oh I wasn't aware. The artist does original illustrations too that I've seen on twitter, which suffer from wonky proportions, so I think my point still stands.

BUT I do want to clarify that the anime does a good job of adapting the style consistantly.
