Bathed my dog, walked to the shop for food and wine then enjoyed said purchases, binge watched a serial killer show, ticked off various other adulting activities that may help me get signed back fit to work idk

So far just spending time with my dog and trying to get sorted for the rest of the month.

Paid property taxes, bought myself a fancy organic lunch as a reward for paying property taxes, resigned myself to watching dvds on my old desktop for now since my tv is borked, and fed poor Peepster the hen, whose legs don’t work and who somehow snapped off the tip of the top half of her beak.

At least the vet gave her a stay of execution (and a bath, heh) on the assumption that if she’s still eating, her beak should grow back in less than a month. I should be cleaning house right now because I have company coming to visit next week, but I’m tired and cleaning is even less fun when I can’t have a movie on as background noise.

Can't you clean with some music? Turn on the radio, or play some videos on YouTube.

Rescheduled my apointments with my doctors and watched some of The Magnificent Ambersons, Happy!, The Tudors, and The Mind Of A Chef on Netflix.

did a bunch of grocery shopping w/ my roomie, watched Star Trek and MST3K, went on the exercise bike, had gross sexual gestures thrown in my direction by a bum on public transit (I told him to fuck off), had ice cream, went for a walk. listened to cool music, read "Grapefruit" by Yoko Ono, had a long, entertaining conversation w/ my roomie and bought him two video games.

Work work and more work. I'm hoping I'll get a little down time next week, because I'm getting so burned out. I get back to the hotel at night and I barely can manage a conversation or some cuddles, I'm so fried. Thankfully qt3.14 is in the same industry so she's really understanding since she goes through the same thing with some projects.

Today was especially bad, though it was a shorter day because it was such a disaster.
