I have a secret pinterest board where I save ideas for my best friends' wedding dresses.

Obviously I will never show or tell them about this unless one of them is panicking and asks me for help. I just enjoy picking pretty stuff. :)

Aw, that's really cute.

One of my friends had a joint Pinterest board when she got married, and we the bridesmaids could add suggestions. I think I mostly added craft & centerpiece ideas, though, nothing dress-related.

I hate one of the people I play D&D with. He's very obnoxious, he misses sessions because he's hungover, he uses the n-word all the fucking time (no he is not African-American), his character is very annoying... but I'll be honest, the #1 reason I hate him is that, within half an hour of meeting him, I mentioned (while talking to someone else) the fact that I am autistic. He decided to leap in and declare that I'm not, because I don't act like the profoundly autistic 7-year-old he works with.

I am 28.

Motherfucker, if you don't think we can fucking learn, why don't you quit your goddamn job already??? Also, you have z e r o doctorates! None! So shut the fuck up!!!

I feel bad for the kids that guy works with... what an asshole!
Is this the same group you're DMing? Not that I know anything about D&D, but is there a way to contact other members of the group and take a vote if he should stay in the campaign or not? I mean, you can't be the only one fed up with him by the sounds of how he's acting...
Either way, that kid needs to learn a thing or two...

Don't you just looove how someone else's anecdotal experience automatically negates yours? It's not like there's a spectrum or anything, ffs.

N!S: I love cats. I love them with all my heart. And I love when they show me affection with touch, like tapping or swatting me to get my attention, climbing into my lap or onto my stomach or up to my shoulder (mostly a kitten thing), "making biscuits" on me, etc., etc. And as soon as I feel like I'm good enough to take care of another being for life, I'm going to get a cat.

S!: But...the tiny prick or scratch of claws, even ones retracted and well-filed on a scratching post, bothers me. I grew up with a declawed cat (we got her in 1996, before it was considered cruel), and even though I know it's wrong, I would prefer if my cat was declawed. I wouldn't actually get it done (assuming it's even still legal by then), but I can't help but wish I could.

Again, I would never do it. But I feel bad for thinking it.

Honestly I feel the same way. My cat isn't declawed, but I have a pretty severe allergy to animals that even my allergist was looking at me sideways because I refused to get rid of her... (I changed allergist's but the result's the same, go figure)

There are often cats in shelter that are declawed (depending on whether it's illegal where you are, i guess) who can only go to indoor-only or otherwise cat-free homes, you could look out for one that way?

We just did the Kondo book purge and it wasn't that big of a deal. Large chunks of our collection were read-once purchases.
