Ummm, hi brain twin.

I actually skipped the day of calc review lecture where we did Trig. I played the game right before finals. in May. This does not bode well. Thankfully Orgo lecture is a little too confusing for me to not concentrate hard.

y halo thar! :D :D :D
(i notice you <3 genetics. so do i, brain twin!)

The whole thing actually first occurred to me during a very brief review of SI during physics, and then it was stuck. We're doing vectors in physics right now so I doubt it'll go away anytime soon D: In orgo, it's gone... I actually really like orgo, although it's at the beginning of the semester (nomenclature & very basic structure, hurrah). But I wake up early for my prior class and by the time orgo rolls around I'm hella sleepy, 'tis tricky to concentrate :(

hi!! :D :D :D
(awesome; genetics nerds are A+)

I have the feeling that when we start doing all the more calculus-y calculus, I'll be hella screwed (I've actually taken calculus before, so I know what's coming, which makes it almost worse orz) Orgo...orgo just kills my brain, and thankfully the talk of carbons and eclipsing structures and the general chaos drives out any math-y things ^^ (my prior class is genetics, so the math-y things don't even cross my mind those days~)

haha, your calculus situation is kind of like my physics one. right now, it's not that hard at all, but I know next semester, taking the next step up, I will totally be screwed... I went to a science magnet, so I had a bunch of physics, but for the last chunk of it my teacher was TERRIBLE. learned nothing. and I think I like orgo because I really like drawing molecules and figuring out the structures and such. plus, the "no math" part is great. ;D

I'm not taking a formal genetics class at the moment, but I'm starting drosophila research this semester! get to dissect flies and do some real time PCR. mmmmhmmm~

oh god, physics blows my mind though; I never took physics in high school, but my genetics major requires it (as well as calculus, which is why lol I'm taking the lowest I can), so be glad you know at least what you do! (my school apparently offered AP physics, but the teacher would like leave the classroom after giving them a worksheet or something).

^^ Molecular modeling kits are so much fun to play with ♥ AND YES, THE NO MATH PART. THE NO MATH PART ♥ (I think Minamimoto is probably the only reason I haven't gone crazy in calculus yet; because it sets me to laughing and my mind to other things orz)

ooooh, drosophila research is fun. So much more fun than nasonia research, which is what half the genetics research at my uni is on. and oh god PCR. I love PCR with a burning passion. <3

oh, calculus... I took it last spring. I think I showed up on time the first week, and every time after that halfway through the class. because I was sleeping, mostly. never taking a 9am class that involves a bus ride in rush hour again :(

I want a molecular modeling kit oh so bad. I need a cheap one. really, I want to play with one the same way I played with k'nex and legos as a kid. AND CHEMISTRY IS SO LIBERATING WITHOUT MATH INVOLVED. it's so lovely~

PCR is -totally- sweet, but the reactions I've run on my own in the past haven't been hella successful D: I am oh so bad at finding that perfect temperature! it eludes meeeee...

IM'A GO TO BED NOW BECAUSE I'M SLEEPY. t'was totally sweet talking to you!
i might friend you in the morning though on my totally not creepy real account though, if you don't mind~

Our teacher is so crazy; she always sounds like she's going to start crying, but she takes attendence (with like 80 people in the lecture; it's hella weird), so I can't skip. I just sit in the back and read shit. Thankfully it's my first class on Tues/Thurs, and it's at 2 ^^

molecular modeling kits are amazing; i used to play with them when I was little and make little animals. OH GOD, I KNOW. WITHOUT ALL THE FIND THE AIR PRESSURE AND THE VOLUME OF THIS BALLOON SYSTEM, it actually makes sense <3

part of my summer research involved PCR, so I got pretty good at getting successful reactions. hella pipetting though, but it was fun ^^

AND YES! TOTALLY FRIEND ME; IT SHALL BE AWESOME <3 and I should totally go to sleep too; it's almost 1:30 AM D:
