Not OP, but Libba Bray's Beauty Queens is amazing for this. Especially the audiobook.

Jane the Virgin is a great show with a brilliant narrative voice who not only pulls viewers in but also creates an atmosphere that makes the show hang together tonally, which it otherwise might not.

reboot Macgyver and reboot Magnum are 2 that often do the narration thing. The Emperor's New Groove & sequel and spinoff "The Emperor's New School" were big on it, and of course Deadpool does not respect the fourth wall in anything he shows up in.
