...all of them? Animals in general are awesome.
Animals that don't need tons and tons of attention/care/special whatever. I don't want to have to micromanage a habitat, diet, temp, etc. for an animal to be healthy and happy. Easy animals are best.

All of them are great. Particular favorites are anything from the cat family, dogs, wolves, penguins, snakes, falcons, sharks, foxes, crocodiles, caimans, and alligators.

Anything that wants to cuddle. :D I'll take cuddly birds, cuddly snakes, cuddly spiders, cuddly rats, if a fish wants to cuddle I'm all in.

I actually saw a video where a guy had taught a fish to fetch a ball. And he would take the fish out of the water and pet it and then put it back in. The fish seemed to enjoy it though I'll admit it's hard to tell with a fish.

Well, it's hard to say that any type of animal is "the best," but the ones that appeal to me most are intelligent and aesthetically pleasing, so ravens and orcas. All corvids and cetaceans, really.
