to be fair, pretty much all mainstream movies with an all female cast are chick-flicks

Silly nonny, any movie where anyone has an emotion that isn't rage, vengeance, constipation, or blowing shit up is a chick flick. Everyone knows that.

TBH, I'd really love some more movies with all female casts that are all about all those things you just listed.

nayrt but I'd define a chick flick as a film that's centered around a romance. Not a film with romance in it, but where it's the primary driver to the film. Typically featuring the "meet cute", falling in love, the misunderstandings and the falling out, only to figure it all out by the end and live happily ever after.
