I tried 3 separate times to watch DD and could NOT get into it, and still I agree.

AGREED! Hawkeye is kinda bland. I like the Matt Fraction comics version of the character, but MCU Hawkeye? Meh. I don't dislike him or anything, but he's the least interesting Avenger.

Daredevil (as played by Charlie Cox), on the other hand. . .

...okay, not Danny. Any of the others. Swap out Hawkeye and Widow with Jessica and DD, throw in Luke as a bonus, and suddenly Actual Personality!!!

I agree that Hawkeye is bland. But I kind of like it. Everybody's so sparkly in the MCU, I enjoy having a character who is just kind of there, and maybe he gets a couple good moments where I remember that he's a cool dude and a valuable asset, but if he doesn't I'm not even mad about it. For me, it just adds variety to the ensemble. As long as they don't give him his own movie or something, because nah.

I know that's an unpopular opinion, but eh, YMMV.
