That seems like reaching? "Other" in this case does not imply oddness or whatever, it literally just means other than ace. As someone upthread said, it exists because calling non-ace people "sexuals" is weird and awkward.

Personally, I tend to just say "non-ace people" because I know how much pushback some people feel the need to give against new terminology. But I do think a term that encompasses "people who are sexual" is legitimate and can be useful in some contexts.

I dunno, sexual and asexual seems fine to me, but to each their own.
