I think the point was that she always left the light's on for Five in case he came home, so her turning the light's off is just another point of her being done with the family.

I would have just assumed she was kind of in a fugue state and going on autopilot. You leave, you turn out the light, just habit.

Just double checked to make sure, and yeah. In the conversation with Pogo when she first arrived at the house she says she left the lights on for Five so he wouldn't leave again if he couldn't find them, and a peanut butter marshmallow sandwich.
