132. There's a difference between Naruto standing there with a stunned look on his face being protected and Sakura, who has decided to step up and fight Sasuke being protected because Yamato sensed killing intent. No duh didn't Sakura just see Sasuke try to turn Naruto into a shish kabob

Even if you don't agree with me in that particular scene is there really any doubt that the manga isn't sexist?

Yeah, actually, a lot. I don't buy into that, even though it has sexist moment, that it's, as a whole, sexist. I think that's people LOOKING for a reason not to enjoy it and bitch about sexism.

I think that moment has a lot more to do with the dynamics between team seven then "Protect the woman folk!"

There's plenty of truly sexist things out there that something that has moments that are sexist, but plenty to balance it out (Strong developed females, a female as the head leader of the land, realistic females body types that DON'T get used for fanservice, a females more then once saving her male counter parts ass, etc).

Especially compared to stuff that's REALLY sexist, which is in great GREAT quantity. Gant is always the first to pop into mind, but it's one of many.
