Margaret isn't that bad or even that uncommon. I went to school with a few. Most of them went by Maggie or Meg, too, so there's nickname options if they don't like "Margaret."

I have lots of them in my family; but they are very dated now and the current Margaret in my family is bullied horridly unless he uses another variation and that makes me sad. Hence me thinking some names just need to get the timing right.
