Laundry, a walk, and then labelling plastic sandwich bags with seed varieties and putting a few seeds and half a paper towel in each one. I would start them all in pots, but this way it’s easier to keep them from drying out until they germinate.

AYRT—it doesn’t work for everything—little tiny seeds are all but impossible to remove from the paper towel, and you want the paper towel damp but not sopping. I don’t have a seed heat mat or anything, so I’ll put the tomatoes and peppers and stuff on top of the refrigerator or cable box; anywhere warm but not in direct sun.
