I think what OP is saying is that FS got them hyped for Wonder Woman and it turned out to merely be a perfectly enjoyable superhero flick rather than a groundbreaking cinematic experience, and they're worried about repeating that with Captain Marvel.
I wonder if OP realises other sources for reviews exist?

Does OP expect a "a groundbreaking cinematic experience", though? Because there's a difference between that and simply a great action flick, which is what OP actually indicates in the secret.
