Sometimes fans are wrong and should be ignored. Writers and actors are fully in their right to tell aggressive fans to piss off and sometimes I wish they did it more often; there are a lot of fans who deserve to be smacked right off their high horses.

Agreed - there's this one author on Tumblr who has a very firm "Never Send Me Headcanons Ever" policy, and sweet baby jesus people can get so whiny about it! Just respect her space, people! Fucksakes!
